From October 1st 2010, Premises Licence Holders MUST have an age verification policy requiring the responsible person to request age identification bearing a photograph, date of birth and a holographic mark from individuals who appear to be under 18 before serving them alcohol.
If there is no policy in place, the Premises Licence Holders could be fined up to £,000 and/or receive 6 months imprisonment.
